REVIEW: My first impression on the Key Lime Cider just at looking at the can was this is going to be a fun to drink, sweet as syrup kind of cider that will rank along side the Big Brands. Was I wrong. Immediately upon opening and taking in the aroma, I could tell this was going to be more complex of a cider than I assumed. The aroma was crisp, very refreshing. My first sip (again I expected very sweet) was very refreshing, not too sweet whatsoever. It took until the very end of my taste to get the key lime flavor.
Honestly, I thought this could be better. I enjoy some key lime. But I thought if they were going to bring out more key lime flavor, it would have made the cider extremely sweet. I think the key lime flavor was excellent. I tried this cider while outside in 85 degree Florida-humid heat grilling some steaks. It did its job of being refreshing, flavorful, and just plain enjoyable. Great work 3 Daughters!
